Matroskin - Thanks man, appreciate it! I used Radiant and Hammer(based off radiant) when I was in school about 3 years ago so I had a pretty strong foundation in additive BSP editors. Thanks for looking and feel free to comment/critique. This will be seen outside the playable space on the exterior and should give an idea of what the entire facility will look like (an abandoned industrial park) These 5 shots are of the interior generator area of the power station.Īn earlier shot(done a few days before the above shots), just to show player scaleĪnd here is a skybox prop I made first to get back into Radiant and learn my way around. Makes it feel old…and abandoned In-game it’s looking cool, because there are some great particle FX of stagnant dust, and floating bits of plaster and debris that really bring it to life. I plan on saturating it a tiny bit more on my final lighting pass, but I’m digging the semi-desaturated feel. To give the map a cold feel I went with a cyan lighting scheme. The setting is an abandoned power station somewhere in the former U.S.S.R. At this stage it is a basically a semi-decorated blockout. My work on this is basically level design: layout, theme, bsp construction (about 80-90% of the geometry is bsp), texture placement, asset placement, and lighting. All textures and models were provided by Infinity Ward along with the toolset. Here’s a map I am currently working on using the COD4 Radiant Editor. These game art communities are awesome and I’m always lurking on cgtalk, but I need to get more involved, as well. Haven’t posted work on cgtalk in a good long while, so I’m going to try and get back into the habit of regularly posting here.
